ENCHANTED

BEAUTY OF THE BEHOLDER
Magnificent mountain ranges, so green,
High up the precipitous peak, an eagle be seen,
Soaring high, the wind beneath its wings,
The wispy clouds, dispersed cling,
Crest off the cliff top, the water cascades,
Gushing down, whispering through landscapes,
Slithering into the glen, brimming and shimmering,
Through the warm rays, yet chill and glimmering,
Willows and oaks, seen centuries of ages,
Blessed with peace, by noble sages,
Leaves so fresh, by seasoned spring,
Wafting fragrance, of natures bring,
While sun sets west, the east face the shade,
The darkness creeps in, with mystic masquerade,
By the gentle breeze over the glen, that ripples,
In glee the argentine fish, leaps out, their fins wiggle,
And the moon gets brighter, the night gets serene,
The rippling water flows through the ravine,
Will this be the God’s own path, of beginning to end,
To live in this, blissful garden of Eden !!

  1. This is so beautiful!
It reminds me of “The proof of a poet is that his country absorbs him as affectionately as he has absorbed it.” – Walt Whitman
We can only gain out of our love of Nature.
